Chapter 4

Padmé tried to look like she was working in something important when the Imperials came knocking on her door. Well, not knocking. They just barged it and grabbed Padmé.

Grand Moff Tarkin was the interrogator. "Nice to see you Senator," he said cruelly.

"Wish I could say the same," Padmé shot back.

Tarkin laughed and his eyes darted around the room. "So where's your little brat?"

Padmé stuck her nose in the air but didn't make eye contact. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Tarkin rolled his eyes and grabbed Padmé's shirt. "Oh really?" Then he called out to some of the troopers, "Bring in the peasant!"

"Peasant?" Padmé asked.

Tarkin only smiled. The door swung open and in the grasp of two Imperials was a not-so-happy Anakin Skywalker.

Padmé caught her breath. They took him as prisoner.

"Where are the plans? And the brat?" Tarkin asked, his cruel eyes shining.

Padmé stood up to grab the plans, but Anakin mouthed, No.

She gave him a questionable look, but turned and said to Tarkin, "I don't have them."

Tarkin scowled and grabbed Padmé's wrist.

"Take her out, lock up the Jedi in the basement," he scoffed. The Imperials grabbed and surrounded Padmé and one lead Padmé to the basement.

Basement, Padmé thought. Luke and Leia are there.

The Imperial locked the basement door, and took Padmé to their ship.

The basement door was locked, but a key was hidden in the basement. Easy escape for the twins and Anakin.

The stairs creaked as he walked down, but he wasn't afraid of one falling it. He slowly walked down, listening to hear any noises.

Anakin finally heard muffled whispers and headed down towards the voices. A boy and a girl. He sensed Leia. Leia was there.

"Leia!" he yelled, not caring anymore of who heard. "Leia! Leia, where are you?!"

Leia peeked out from under the blankets and threw them off of her when she saw her father calling for her.

"Dad!" she yelled, jumping up and running towards her father. Anakin turned and faced to his daughter.

Leia threw her arms around her him and she lay her head against his chest. "Daddy," she whispered.

Anakin held her tightly in his arms and whispered into her hair, "I'm sorry Leia, I'm just so sorry."

Leia leaned back to look at her father's face. "Don't be sorry. If you didn't send me away, I wouldn't ever have found Mom and Luke."

The words stung, send me away, but he was caught on the word, Luke. Anakin pulled away and made eye contact with the boy sitting in the corner across the room.

Luke. His son. The one he hadn't seen in 11 years.

Luke was small, just like his sister. 4 and a half feet tall, maybe 4' 9"'.

His eyes were a bright blue, the same bright blue eyes that stared up at Anakin all those years ago.

"D... da… d.… dad?" Luke asked shakily.

Anakin nodded and managed a small smile. "Luke."

"Luke, Anakin. Anakin, Luke," Leia finally said, tired of their staring contest.

Anakin held out his arms and Luke practically fell into them.

"Dad," he whispered into his father's Jedi Robes.

Anakin held the back of his son's head and sighed to himself.

"I'm sorry," he said when Luke pulled away.

Luke sat down on a crate and motioned for Leia and his father to sit. Then he examined Anakin's face.

"Its not your fault," he finally said.

Anakin looked away. "Yes it is. I let it happen. If I didn't come, they wouldn't have taken Padmé."

Luke frowned. "I don't know. We can—"

"Rescue her! A rescue mission!" Leia shouted out.

She turned to Anakin and looked at him with wide eyes. "Please dad! Please!"

Anakin smiled and Luke was horrified. "Great. Let's get killed. Whoo!"

Leia punched his shoulder. "That's the spirit!"

"That, Leia, was scarcasm."

Anakin got up then froze. "We don't have a ship. The Empire took mine."

"There's one in the palace. It would be kind of legal.. not really.." Luke said wistfully.

Leia jumped up. "Let's go!"

Luke and Leia sat on the small bed in on of the rooms, while Anakin piloted.

Luke looked at his sister, who was jumping on the bed.

"Leia?" he finally asked, interrupting her jumping.

Leia stopped jumping and sat down across from her brother. "Yeah?"

Luke looked down at his hands. His face was red and flustered. "Can I ask you something?"

Leia laughed. "You just did."

He scowled at his twin so she stopped laughing. Leia brushed a strand of her brown hair behind her ear and looked Luke sincerely in the eye.

"Alright, shoot!"

"D'ya think Dad would, like uh.. train me... like as a Jedi?" Luke finally asked, clearly nervous about asking.

Leia frowned for a second, then levitated a small pillow into the air, making it fly in small circles.

"You want to learn the ways of the Force?" she asked once the pillow she had levitated had landed on the bed by her side.

Luke stared at her, his jaw dropped and his eyes wide with shock.

"What? How can you do that? Why didn't you tell me that? You can use the Force? How? Tell me!"

Leia tossed her head back with laughter.

"It takes a long while little brother. A long while."

"Hey! Who said I was younger?"

Chapter 3
Leia shifted in bed then shot awake. Was it all a dream? Luke, and her mother, and Naboo? She glanced to the bed to her right. Luke was there. She sighed a breath of relief. It was real, she had found her family.

"Luke," Leia whispered. "Luke, wake up!"

Luke's eyes opened he groaned. "What time is it?" he muttered.

Leia checked. "Uh, 0800 hours. I slept late."

"Late?!" Luke asked in alarm. "Its too early! What time do you wake up?"

"0600 hours the latest." Luke groaned but sat up. "I'm tired!"

Padmé stood in the doorway with a smile. "Luke, its not that early."

"YOUR A SENATOR!" Leia snorted and rolled her eyes. "What does that have to do with anything? Late riser!"

Luke narrowly missed Leia when he chucked his pillow at her. He grabbed another pillow to throw but before he could he felt a pillow hit his head. "Hey!" he protested.

Leia grinned. But before their war started Padmé interrupted. "Okay, I need to tell you two something."

In sync the twins looked up. "Yeah mom?" Padmé sat on the edge of Leia's bed.

"I commed Ani last–" Leia giggled and mimicked, "Ani." Luke laughed but covered it with a fake cough.

"Okaaaaay! But I talked to Anakin last night and.. he's coming today."

Leia's face went from her kill-Luke-with-pillows to a huge ear-to-ear grin. "So wait. Is dad coming?"

Padmé nodded and smiled. "Yes, he's coming!"

Leia jumped off the bed saying, "Dad's coming! Dad's coming!"

Luke sighed and looked away. He was happy, he would finally get to meet the father Leia raved on and on about. But would he even recognize Luke? Possibly, he might know his son. Or would he? No. He wouldn't. And it would be terrible.

It was 1200 hours, and that meant one thing. Anakin was coming.

Padmé tried to act like it was no big deal, but she had a wide smile on her face the whole morning.

Leia only bounced up and down and kept glancing out the window. "He's coming!" she squealed for the 1000th time that morning.

Luke glanced out the window and saw a starship landing. "Mom! Leia! He'a here!" he yelled, then frowned at Leia.

"Are you sure he's not with the Empire?" Leia made a face then looked out the window.

"Luke, that's not dad! That's THE Empire!" Luke's mouth opened to say something but he got cut of by Padmé.

"Luke, Leia! Go down the hall to the basement!" Luke nodded and grabbed Leia's hand, practically dragging her.

"C'mon Leia! We have food, water, and blankets down there! Just run!" Leia nodded, but she seemed dazed. Then the twins ran down to hide in the basement.

Time passed, 4 months had passed. Leia ran quickly down the halls so she wasn't late for math. As she ran she rummaged through her book back, looking for her math stuff. Then her head filled with pain and everything went black. Leia opened her eyes and found herself on the floor, and across from a boy. He had sandy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. All his books were all over the hall. It was Luke. Luke Naberrie. "What where your going!" Leia moaned. Luke froze. "What? I..." Leia, without thinking, made a fist and punched Luke in the stomach. Hard. Luke fell back and landed on his back. "Owww..." he moaned. A teacher stood over them. "Luke Naberrie, Leia Skywalker.. detention." Bystanders burst into laughter, leaving both Luke and Leia's faces red. "What was that for?" Luke finally asked, sitting up. Leia glared at him without a response. Then she scooped up her stuff and stuffed it into her book bag. Luke did the same, and they didn't make eye contact.
Math. The only subject other than reading Leia understood. Living with her dad on a Rebel base most of her life, she hadn't been taught "school stuff". Leia knew how to drive a speeder, shoot a blaster, use the Force, and build random mechanic stuff. As she sat down, Leia was glad to see Luke wasn't there. He was in her math class, but wasn't there. Relief fled across Leia. What Luke had done... UGH! The teacher passed out the assignments on data pads and told them to work on the problems until school was over. Well not over, because of detention. Leia stared at the data pad, her mind spinning. This stuff came easy to her, she had no idea how. Finally the door opened and a blonde little scrawny boy stood. Luke. Again. Ugh.
Luke stood in the doorway, and his glance fell to Leia. Her head was cocked at an angle and her fierce eyes stared at him. He could tell immanently she was mad, and Luke really didn't blame her. Detention was horrible. Not that he knew from experience, he was a good boy. "Ah, Luke. Nice to see you made it to class," the math teacher said. Luke managed a nod. "Well class is almost over so you can just head over to detention now." Someone snickered. His face reddened. But Luke walked slowly to a room marked DETENTION. He pushed the door opened and got a mean look from a teacher. "Sit," the teacher hissed. Luke made his way to a desk and sat with a wide frown on his face. One minute passed, two minutes, three minutes... RIIIING! The bell rang, which meant one thing; Leia was coming. Footsteps, footsteps, then the door creaked open. Leia walked in like she didn't care about anything. She probably didn't. The teacher pointed angrily at a seat, and Leia walked over with her nose stuck in the air. "Sit, be quiet, and I'll be right back," the teacher announced sharply. He left and Leia shot out of her seat to Luke's with something in her hand. "Trade?" she asked. It was a holo in her hand. Luke raised his eyebrows. "What?" Leia groaned and rolled her eyes. "You have my holo. This is yours." Luke took out a holo from his bag and stared at it. Leia grabbed for it. "Its mine. See? It has my initials carved into it." Luke pulled it away and pressed the on button. A women appeared, a smile on her face. She had wavy brown hair and brown eyes. She looked just like... "Who is that?" Luke asked, alarmed. "Um... well that's my mom. She died, giving birth to me." Luke shook his head. "No way!" Leia frowned. "What? You don't believe me?" "No! That's my mom!" Leia froze. "How? That's impossi—" Luke took out his own holo he kept and played it. It was a man, dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes, just like Luke. He couldn't be more than 10 years older than the Luke and Leia in the holo. "That's my dad. He died." "No he didn't!" Luke raised his eyebrows. "How didn't he?" Leia shook her head. "That's my dad! I saw a holo of him exactly like that in his room!" They shared a look. "Is it possible, that we are–" "Related?" Luke finished. "We'd have to be siblings!" Leia bit her lower lip. "That mean... they didn't love eachother." Luke stared at her, and shook his head. "What do you mean?" Leia's face saddened as she spoke, "They divorced. Mom and dad." That's the only thing she said, but running through Leia's head was, "Mom doesn't love me." "Why?" Luke asked. "Mom said dad got shot and DIED." Leia managed a smile. "Shot and DIED!" she mocked. Luke rolled his eyes. "I'm bored," he moaned. "Can't we just go somewhere out of here?" Leia's darted to a huge opened window, then she smiled. "Prison breakout?" Luke followed her glanced and his eyes widened. "What? We can't—" "C'mon!" Leia yelled, as she stepped one foot out and ducked her head down. "Leia, I..." "HURRY UP!" Luke groaned, grabbed his stuff along with Leia's and climbed out. Leia was grinning ear to ear. "See? That wasn't all that.. LUKE GET DOWN!" They both dropped to the ground and looked up slowly. The teacher was looking for them. "Crawl," Luke mouthed as they managed to escape school property. "Now what?" Luke muttered, getting up to his feet. Leia's eyes smiled. "Want something to eat?" "Eat? Leia we ate 2 hours ago!" "Exactly! 2 hours ago! I get hungry easily."
So soon the two were sitting on a bench eating salty soft pretzels. Leia's legs swung back and forth as if she didn't have a care in the galaxy. Luke smiled to himself, thinking about how Leia had acted earlier, and how sweet she was now. "So what are gonna do to get them back together?" he finally asked. Leia licked the salt of her fingers with a thoughtful look on her face. "Well, I read about a girl and her sister who's parents got a divorce and she—" "I'm a guy!" Leia scowled. "That's not the point!" Luke rolled his eyes. "Then what is?" Leia tapped her chin, thinking. "Her and her sister switched places, and went to the other parent's house. Well, that could work!" Luke gave her a looked. "What?" she asked. "We're aren't both guys! Or.. ugh, both girls." Leia kicked him in the shin. "So what? It could work. Dad would quickly think you are me!" "Are you saying he's stupid? We look nothing alike!" Leia bit her lower lip, annoyed at Luke's comment. But he was kind of right. Anakin 100% wasn't stupid, Leia joked with him that he had no common sense, but still, he wasn't stupid. "Do you have a better plan?" she asked dryly. "Yes." "What?" "We both go to mom's house." Leia sighed, and shook her head. "Why?" Luke scowled at her. "Why not?" "Okay.. fine."
It took about 2 hours for Luke and Leia to get from Theed to the Lake Country, considering that they were running. Leia stop to catch her breath. "How... far... to mom's.. house?" she asked through heavy breaths. Luke pointed to the big lake house they stood in front of. "Right here," he said, and laughed at his sister's face. "Woah! This is your house?" "Yeah. Its a little big.." "A LITTLE?!? This place is huge!" They stared at each other and laughed. "Ladies first?" Luke said, pointing to the front door. Leia rolled her eyes but went in, with Luke following. He dumped his stuff on the floor, she placed hers against the wall. They walked into the living room, and footsteps were heard, running fast. "Luke!" a woman's voice called. Leia looked up to see a woman, with long, curly brown hair, and brown eyes. Mom, Leia thought. She knew how she got her not-so-tall height from, her mother wasn't very tall either. "Mom!" Luke cried, staggering backwards. "I thought you had a Senate meeting!" Padmé frowned and pursed her lips. "Yes. I did. Then I got a comm call from your head master saying you and another girl–" she raised her eyebrows at Leia. "Broke out of.. detention." "Yes. We did," Leia spoke up. Padmé turned to face her. "What?" "We did break out. Maybe if you didn't LIE TO OUR FACES we wouldn't! You left me!" Padmé's face softened, and she whispered, "Leia?" For a second, she was caught off guard, then Leia nodded and managed, "Yes." Luke nudged his sister towards Padmé and she fell into her mother's arms. "Mom," she whispered. "My baby girl," Padmé whispered back. Then she pulled back. "How? How did you two?" Luke and Leia shared at look, that seemed to say, 'let's tell her'. "Its a strange story," Luke started. Padmé nodded to the couch. "Sit." The siblings sat down before they could start, she looked at Leia, her eyes sad. "Leia.." Leia looked up at her mother. "Yes?" "How... how is Anakin?" "What?" Leia asked the same time Luke said, "We thought you hated him!" Padmé shook her head, trying to hold back her laughter. "Hate him? Anakin? Oh gosh no!" Leia, who's jaw was still dropped, tried to speak, but only succeed in waving her hands around. Luke spoke up for her. "Then why aren't you two—" "Together?" Padmé finished, her face saddening even more than it was. "There was a time, when this Empire was a Republic. Sidious ruined that, and Anakin and I.. we couldn't have him take you two." Luke scowled. "He did that to us? He ruined our family!?" Padmé nodded. "Yup. He did. We decided that Anakin would take Leia, and I would keep Luke." Leia sighed. "I wish that never happened. I miss dad." "I miss him too. But I did see him, after the birth of you too." "Really?" Luke asked. "When?" Padmé took out a holo and played it. Leia, age 8 maybe, lying on her stomach reading a book. "Anakin gave this to me. At the Alliance meeting on Courascant." Leia smiled, thinking about how happy her father was that day. "Now I know why," she thought. "Mom." "Did you give dad one of me?" Luke asked, hoping Padmé did. "I had it in my luggage but I forgot it." Luke's heart sunk, but he tried not to show it. "Dad doesn't even know what I look like," he thought sadly. "So," Padmé spoke. "How did you two find out you we're twins?"
After trying to explain the story of how they found out to Padmé, Leia found herself sitting at the table with Luke, and a small bowl was in front of her. "Soup," Luke whispered. "Its okay, but mom's not really... uh.. good at cooking." Leia stared at it then asked, "Is it even edible?" Padmé entered and saw the twins staring at her food. "What are you telling her Luke?" Luke's head shot up, and Leia smirked at him. "Nothing mom! Just how... wonderful your food is. Yeah," he scooped up some soup. "Delicious!" Padmé rolled her eyes, and sat down across from the two. "Okay, I can be a take-out person. Nothing wrong with that." Leia laughed and thought about Anakin. "Dad's a good enough chef." "And he brags enough about it." Padmé said with a smile.
After their dinner, and the twins were sent to bed, Padmé sat up on the couch with her comm in her lap. It buzzed, the call worked. After a second Anakin appeared. He looked tired, but his face lit up when he saw Padmé. "Padmé!" His voice made Padmé smile. "Ani," she replied. Then a worried look crossed her husband's face. "Angel, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Padmé held up a disk. "I got the Imperial plans." Anakin grinned. "That's great, and you can just send it through–" "Maybe it would be better if I delivered it to you in person. Face to face." Anakin raised his eyebrow and gave her a mock suspicious look. "What is it that you are playing at angel?" Padmé took a shaky breath, but told him, "Anakin, Leia's here." Gasps. "What? Leia? How is that possible?" "She was at Luke's school, and they found each other." Anakin frowned and shook his head. "How could I be so.. uh, I didn't know Luke was going there! I shouldn't of sent her there." Padmé quickly ended his pity party. "Can you come Ani? Can you come?" Anakin smiled. "Of course. What time it now on Naboo?" Padmé checked and replied, "1000 hours. 2 hours until midnight." Anakin glanced at his own time. "Yeah, its 0900 hours here. So the traveling will be about 4 hours, I'll leave at 0700, I'll be there at 1200 hours." Padmé smiled. "Okay, great. I love you." "I love you too angel." Beep! The comm call ended. Anakin was coming.

Padmé opened her eyes to see her husband smiling over her, cradling their twin infants, Luke and Leia. "They're beautiful," Anakin whispered to her. She nodded. "I love them already." Leia shifted a tiny bit in Anakin's arms. "Aw Anakin, she like you!" Padmé cooed. He grinned. Padmé sat up and took Luke into her arms and he gazed up at her face like taking a picture he never wanted to forget. "What's going to happen to them?" Anakin finally asked. "With the Empire, and such. And the Rebellion." They were both with the Rebellion to restore peace, and the twins… Padmé face quickly darkened. She looked nervous and scared. "I… I… we uh... We'll discuss it when.. when I'm out of here, at my apartment. Okay?" Anakin nodded sadly. "I guess if its for the best of it all. I love you Padmé." "I love you too." They kissed, and Luke let out a tiny little baby squeal. "My little boy," Padmé mused. The doctor entered the room shortly after. "Alright, we took the data from your test, and you are all clear to go home tonight." Padmé slowly swung her legs over to the edge of the hospital bed and stood up. "Okay," she said. "Let's go."
At the Senator's apartment, Anakin sat up on the couch and listened as his wife put the twins down to nap. She spoke in a quiet, soothing voice to them, and they didn't cry, just slept. He hoped it would stay like it was now. All together. He knew what was going to happen. They had to hide the twins from the Emperor. Padmé entered the main room and sat on the couch next to Anakin. "You know what's going to happen right? We can have them together, there powers..." Anakin cut her off. "Why not? We could just hide somewhere. There is no one to tell us what to do! Not really, we could hide on Naboo!" "Anakin, I wish we could. But the kidnapping attempts, MURDER attempts, anything. We don't want to put the twins in danger, do we?" She got to him. "But—" "No. You think I like this? Well I don't!" "My point exactly!" "NO! Not your point! We live in a big world, and we can't surround it by what we want! Its by what is meant to be. Its for the best." "Then I'll have it for the worst," Anakin muttered. Padmé glared daggers at him. "No. Period." "We COULD possibly hide them. Someone could kill the Emperor. Someone like… you." She laughed. "What? Me? You've got it wrong." Anakin managed a smile. "Okay. Fine. But... I'll miss you Padmé." "I know. We will only comm in emergencies." Before he could reply, a loud scream rang from the small nursery. The twins were awake. Padmé got up quickly off the couch and went to the nursery, and Anakin trailed quickly behind her. Sure enough, the twins were bawling their eyes out. Padmé scooped up Leia and handed her to Anakin. Leia screeched and wailed until she discovered she was safe in his arms. Her grey eyes stared up at his face. "She loves you," Padmé whispered. "You.. you should take her. Care for her and raise her." Anakin cradled her slowly and replied, "I will. What about Luke?" "He can stay with me on Naboo." Padmé glanced up at Anakin. "At the lake house." Silence was in the air for a few seconds before Luke moaned from his crib. Padmé scooped him up and kissed his forehead. "So how did you die?" Anakin asked. Padmé looked at him like he was a creeper. "What are you talking about?" "We tell the twins eachother died so they won't find out." Padmé raised her eyebrow. "You, Anakin Skywalker, using common sense? I must be dreaming!" "Haha, very funny. I think I died in the war. I got shot by a clone trooped, then they attacked when I didn't die in the first five seconds of their shot." Leia's tiny baby eyes filled with alarm, as if she understood what he was saying, and believed it. "Okay, you were murdered. Lovely. I guess I died giving birth to Leia. She'll have to believe it, I guess." Anakin frowned. "Are you doubting that she'll believe it?" Padmé brushed her hair from her face and sighed. "I'll miss you. Where will you be?" "We'll take an apartment here on Coruscant, she'll like the big city." Silence. No one spoke, the twins didn't make a sound. Finally Anakin placed Leia down and started to pack his stuff. "Bye Padmé. I'll miss you."

~~~~~~~~11 Years Later~~~~~~~~
Anakin/Leia
"Leia!" Anakin called down the halls to his daughter's bedroom. "Leia we need to talk!" "Wait one second!" Was his daughter's muffled reply. He heard a crash, then an "ow!", then Leia hitting the floor. Anakin opened Leia's door and saw her all sprawled out on the floor with all of her random stuff with her. "Hi dad!" she said cheerfully. He just stared. "What?" Leia asked. "What are you doing?" Leia laughed. "Oh this? I fell." Anakin smirked. "I noticed that. How exactly did you "fall"?" "I uh… kinda jumped off.. the bed, and tripped." Anakin laughed then got serious. "Leia, we need to talk." "Aren't we talking?" Leia asked, keeping a straight face. "Alright smart aleck, be like that." "Okay what do we need to talk about? I'm one hundred percent serious now." Anakin rolled his eyes but said, "Leia I know its hard for you with the Alliance and all, so there is a school on Naboo… I guess your old enough to have a room their and you will attend the school." Leia's eyes widened. "What? No! Leave home to go to some strange planet?!" "Its not up for debate, your going." "No I'm not!" "Leia!" "NO!!! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!" "Your the child, I'm the adult. What I say goes." "OBJECTION!" "Your kidding right?" "I'm not going? Why are you torturing me? I hate you!" "YOUR GOING!" "NOT GOING!" Anakin finally ended the fight with, "I'm done with you."
The next day Anakin had Leia dropped of at Naboo. "Bye Leia," he said as the ship landed in front of the school. Leia turned around, her eyes sad. "So your just going to leave me here?" she asked. "I have to Leia. The galaxy is at war.." "And you have to lead the Rebellion to save it. Okay, you win." Anakin smiled. "I love you Leia." Leia hugged him tightly. "I love you too dad." He kissed her the top of her head and lightly pushed her towards the school. "Go now." Leia hesitated, but jogged off to the entry of the school.
Padmé/Luke
"Bye mom," Luke called as he walked into his school. He'd been attending it for 3 years, and Padmé hadn't seen a single face she recognized. As she waited for Luke to enter, she saw a man walking off to a starship. One from the Rebellion. Padmé was a loyal member of the Rebellion, and knew when Luke got older he would be fighting by her side. But it wasn't the ship that had caught her eye, it was the man. He had curly light brown hair, very close to blonde, and he was tall. Padmé couldn't see his face, but the man reminded her of Anakin. It was impossible though. Anakin and Leia were gone with the Rebellion, and Leia was so young. She tried to let it go, but it confused her. Who was that man? Was it her Ani? Padmé sighed and walked over to her ship to leave for her home in the Lake Country. There was a war going on. If Anakin was in Naboo she would know.
 "Hello!" Mara called as she entered. "I'm here!" "Mara! Mara!" the twins screamed as they ran to see the Jedi. Mara smiled at the kids. "Hey Jaina, Jacen." She walked over to Luke who was holding baby Anakin. "Aww! He's so cute!" Anakin smiled at Mara, his little cute baby smile that could convince anyone to do what he wanted to do. Luke, not paying any attention to the baby, stared at Mara. "Hey Luke," she said cheerfully. He tried to smile. "Hi... Mara.." he stammered. Anakin wriggled out of his hold, but became terrified of the 5 1/2 feet drop he would have to go down to see his brother and sister. "Iwa Mama!!!!" he screamed. "Iwa Mama iwa!!!" Leia ran over and grabbed the baby from Luke. "C'mon! Are you stupid?" Mara stifled a laugh. "Sorry MOM," Luke snapped back sarcastically. Leia grinned. "I don't think you can slide by like that after torturing poor little Anakin." The child nodded.
   After lunch Luke hugged his niece and nephews and said goodbye to his sister and brother in law. He left the apartment and caught up with Mara on the busy streets of Coruscant. "Mara!" Mara stopped and turned, her face only showed a small smile, trying to hide her excitement. "Hey Luke." Luke walked with her down the streets and they ended up at Mara's apartment. "Well that was a fun walk," Mara said, smiling the smile that made Luke melt inside. "Yeah… um… can I tell you something?" he stuttered. She nodded. "Anything." "Mara… I love you." Mara froze. Was this a dream? Had this really happened? Luke's heart beat fast as he tried to speak again. "If you don't… return the love... I understand…" Mara shook her head. "No, I love you too!" And Luke leaned towards Mara, and they held a long, romantic, kiss.
The End! Do you guys like it??? Comment what you think!
"So you want to come over for lunch?" Leia asked Mara the next day. Mara combed a strand of her hair behind her ear and smiled. "Sure, I'd love to," she replied. Leia grinned slyly. "Luke will be there." "Oh… okay." She took a shaky breath. "That'll be fun. Very fun." Leia laughed. "Yup, that's how we roll. Well, see you later Mara. I have to go home and bring the kids out to get some groceries. Han watching them for a long period of time will make him crazy!" Mara waved and walked down the streets of Coruscant, it was peaceful there, not wars were about since the Galaxy was at peace.
  "I'm here!" Luke called as he entered the Solo family apartment. 4 year olds Jacen and Jaina were playing with little stuffed ewoks, trying to talk to them. While 1 year old Anakin Solo crawled around moaning his language of nonsense. "Uncle Luke! Uncle Luke!" the twins screamed when they noticed Luke enter their home. "Hey kids," Luke replied, struggling to escape from their grasp from hugging. "Let go now?" he managed. Jaina and Jacen walked to the couch. "Luke?" Leia called from the kitchen. "Yeah, I'm here!" Jaina started to bounce on the couch. "Mara is coming!" she screamed. "Mara Jade!" Luke's head snapped around to face Leia. "She is?" Leia smiled. "Yup." The apartment doorknob twisted and Luke was horrified. He scooped up Anakin and ran to the nursery. "Daddy!" Jacen screamed as he ran to the door. Anakin stared up at his uncle then moaned, "Iwawa seqa Dada!" Luke scooped up the child and brought him to the main room. "Hey kid? Why didn't you greet me?" Han questioned. "He thought you were Mara!" Leia teased, obviously trying to push her brother's buttons. Han stared at Luke. "So… kid… you gotta girl?" Jaina giggled. "Uncle Luke has a girlfriend!" Which, of course, cracked Jacen up. "Jaina, your funny!" he laughed. Luke quieted them down. "Stop it guys okay?" The twins nodded and then the doorknob turned… Mara.
Hey guys! This got deleted so its the same fanfic, but the first chapter is kinda different.
   His heart beat fast, sweat dripped from his forehead, and his vision blurred. One thought made his heart pound harder, and harder, and harder. Mara. Mare Jade. Luke Skywalker's mind was boggled, every second confused him more. He… he loved Mara. Did she love him? At all? A little? Someone entered his room and glanced around. "Luke? Are you awake?" It was Luke's twin, Leia. Luke managed to sit up. "Yeah, I'm awake." He wiped sweat of his forehead and sighed. "Are you okay?" Leia asked. "I'm… I'm fine its just... Mara Jade… I love her… she's beautiful. I… I want her." Leia raised her eyebrow. "Okay… then tell her that. Not to hard Luke." "That's what you say! You're a girl, I'm not!" Luke snapped, a little angrily. Leia shrugged. "Well, goodnight then." "Goodnight!" Luke yelled back angrily.
   Luke... Luke... Luke… Mara Jade shook her head, trying to stop thinking about Luke. But he seemed to have moved into her mind and didn't want to move out. She liked every part of him. His bravery, courage, and he was so sweet. And hidden in her mind… he was kind of cute. After, hard for Mara to think, his old girlfriend died, he had really been into her. Then the love started to fade like watercolors…
The Raider came closer, and closer, holding out their weapons to slaughter Luke any known second. Luke backed away, tears formed in his eyes. "Eeee!!!" One Raider yelled, and they all charged. Luke screamed but no one heard him. "PLEASE! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! HELP ME!" A hooded figure jumped out from behind the sand and drew his… lightsaber? They Raiders were quickly scared as they ran off to their camp. Luke wiped away his tears and stared up at the hooded man. "You… you saved… saved my life!" The man took off his hood and a warm smile came to his face. He had dark red hair and warm eyes, around his late 30s. "What are you doing out here alone Luke?" Luke froze in shock. "How do you know my name?" "I know these things. I'm Ben, Ben Kenobi." Luke tried to force a small smile. "Hi Ben. I was at the market and I kind of got lost. I couldn't find my aunt and uncle." "Your a very adventurous boy," Ben started, his face saddening. "Like your... like your father." Luke got a confused look on his face at the word "father". "I don't have a father… I just have an uncle." "LUKE! LUKE!" A voice screamed. "Uncle Owen!" Luke screamed back, and Owen ran to scoop up his nephew. "Luke where were you? You were gone all day, your aunt and I were worried sick." Luke cocked his head. "Well, I played with the toys, then had a yummy snack, then I came here and the scary peoples came at me." Owen laughed at Luke's description of the Raiders, than froze. "What happened Luke?" Luke smiled. "Then the nice man Ben scared them away, and he was really nice." Owen snapped his head around and shot daggers at Ben. "What have you been telling him?" Ben shrugged lightly. "What a young boy needs to hear." "Leave Obi Wan, leave now!" Owen snapped angrily. Ben stared sadly, but managed to answer, "That name is no longer in meaning to me. Its the haunting past that will come back." "Ben says I'm like my Daddy!" Luke said with a confused look. "Who's my daddy?" Owen's face darkened as he turned around and pushes Ben to the ground. "Leave! Leave and never come near Luke again! Luke, don't listen to a word he says!" Ben scrambled to get up away from Owen's wrath. "Goodbye Luke!" he called sadly. "We WILL meet again!" Owen scowled and walked to the Lars household, whispering to Luke, "Never go near him. Okay? Never again."
  Beru was at loss of hope. Her poor Lukey, lost. The Raider had probably… probably… oh! She just couldn't think about that. "Beru!" Owen called. Beru's eyes quickly adjusted to the dark to see her husband standing not to far from their home with… Luke! "LUKE!!!" she screamed, running to hug the boy. "Aunt Beru!" he squealed in delight, as his aunt wrapped her arms around him. "You're back Luke! You're back!"
The End!!! Please comment what you think about it!!! New fanfic will come soon. :)
   "Luke!" Owen screamed. His nephew couldn't go missing, not today, not ever. "Are you looking for someone?" A young looking lady asked him, her head cocked to the side. "Yes, I am actually. My nephew Luke. Scruffy and short dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, uh… he's about 4 feet 2 inches tall, weighs around 60 pounds…" The women pursed her lips and thought for a minute. "No actually I haven't seen him. But I'll keep an eye out." Owen nodded and raced out of the market hut to look for Luke.
   He had been searching for 1 hour and no one had claimed to see Luke. Owen went to get Beru, but knew she would be a nervous wreck. "Beru!" he called as he entered their sand hut. Beru came out of their kitchen and smiled. "Did you get the dro… where's Luke?" Owen sighed. "That's the problem. He ran off in one of the market huts." Beru's jaw dropped. "No. Our little Luke. Impossible. Where did he go?" Owen sighed. "Help me look for him. We need the speeder, c'mon Beru!" Beru slipped on her day shoes and ran out to the speeder. "Let's go then!"
   Luke enjoyed the newly found freedom his uncle gave him. The toys were very fun and no one scolded him about playing at the time. He hadn't noticed his uncle leaving, so he presumed he was still there. After 5 more minutes Luke decided to find something else to do. He put the toy X-Wing down on the shelf and ran as fast as his legs aloud him to another market hut, selling Botchë fry rolls, Luke's favorite snack. Sadly, the cost many coins, which Luke had none of. Then an unoccupied fry roll caught his eye, up on the bar. Luke tried to reach it, failing because it was about 6 feet up. So he successfully kicked the unstable bar, causing the fry roll to fall. Luke smiled at his cleverness, and his snack.
   Owen's face reddened as another person said they hadn't seen Luke. "How can these… idiots… not notice a little boy running around? Beru shook her head. "Someone will find him, I just know it," she muttered under her breath, but just as annoyed as Owen that no one noticed him. They had been searching for 3 hours, it was almost noon. "Have you seen a boy? Blonde hair, blue eyes, about 4 feet tall?" Beru asked another person. "Nope," the person answered. Owen wiped sweat of his forehead and sighed. "We must keep looking. Tatooine can be dangerous at night. Remember what happened to Shmi?" Beru's face darkened, in fear of the Tuscan Raiders kidnapping Luke and killing him, just like they did to Owen's step mother. "They slaughtered her. Oh, poor Luke!" They continued searching like crazy. "Have you seen a little boy, blonde hair, blue eyes, and around 4 feet tall?" Beru asked. A smuggler grinned slyly. "Yes actually, I just did." Beru's eyes widened and a huge smile spread on her face. "Really? Where?" "Dead on my plate," the smuggler laughed cruelly. Beru stared at him in horror. "No! Where is he?" The smuggler rolled his eyes. "Lady, I don't have your kid." Beru turned away and continued searching, even more desperate than before.
  Its was around 6:00, Luke was alone on Tatooine, but he didn't mind. He was an adventurous little boy, and enjoyed this time. The market closed an hour before, so he headed out to the Outer Rim of the planet. Luke's friend Biggs had been their, and raved to Luke how amazing it was. But Beru and Owen forbade him going there. Well, they can't tell him what to do. Something rustled in a dead plant. Luke turned around and 10 Tuscan Raiders ran towards him with their weapons. "HELP!" he screamed in horror. "HELP, SOMEONE HELP!!!"
Owen Lars woke up one beautiful morning to his wife Beru calling his name from the center of their fairly large sand hut. "Owen! Owen can you come here?!" Owen sat up in his bed and called back. "Wait one moment darling!" He got out of his bed and put on his morning robes. "Owen! I need you now!" Beru wailed, a little over dramatic. Owen ran down to the center of the sand hut to greet his wife. "Good morning Beru. What is it you need of me?" Beru smiled. "Well I was thinking about it, and I think we need a protocol droid. Like we had when Shmi was with us!" she explained. Owen frowned. "I don't know. How would we get one? We couldn't possibly build one!" Beru brushed back some of her blonde hair behind her ear and a grin spread on her face. "Today at the marketplace, they are selling protocol droids real cheep!" Owen laughed at his wife's quick thinking. "But of course. I will go out today I guess. What does it need to do?" Beru thought about it for a minute. "It needs to speak Botchë, take care of Luke, and help me with house hold chores. That's really all." Owen nodded. "Okay then. I'll bring Luke and when we come back we can have breakfast." He went off to wake up his nephew.
   "We get to see droids!" 6 year old Luke exclaimed as Owen parked his new speeder in front of the marketplace. Owen smiled as he took his nephew's hand. "Yes we do. But stay with me at all times, okay?" Luke nodded. "Okay, I promise!" Owen and Luke walked over to a marketing hut selling toys. They entered and Owen found the owner. "Excuse me? Do you know where they sell protocol droids?" The owner began to explain where to go and a model X Wing toy caught Luke's eye. "Woah..." he moaned in awe. He ran over to it and noticed their were more toy speeders down more racks. Owen finished talking to the shop owner and got ready to leave. "Come on Luke! Time to go!" he called. No reply. "Luke? Luke are you their?"
